Rachel Downey, PhD in Clinical Psychology

Rachel Downey holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University. She has received extensive training in neuropsychology and psychotherapy from Ontario Shores Centre for Mental HealthBaycrest Health Sciences, the Allan Memorial Institute, the Montreal General HospitalHealth Sciences CentreRiverview Health Centre, and the Pan Am Concussion Clinic. Rachel specializes in ADHD and neuropsychological assessments in adolescents, adults, and older adults. Areas of expertise include ADHD, traumatic brain injury, concussion, dementia, and neurological disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy). She has recently returned to Montreal after completing intensive training in clinical neuropsychology in Western Canada (2023-2024). Rachel Downey has been working with us since 2020 as a psychometrist, then as a PhD candidate before graduating with a PhD in 2025. Striving to perfect her craft, she is also working closely with supervisor Dre Gagnon on every case - see the consent forms for details.
