Dr Ramzi Houdeib, PsyD, Neuropsychologist (OPQ 14693-22)

Dr Ramzi Houdeib spends most of his time in hospitals and offers services at our clinic on Fridays. His fees are 180$/hr.

Completed his Doctorate of Neuropsychology at the University of Montreal where he focused on the effects of traumatic brain injury on cognition in an adult population. With a master’s degree in psychology research from Concordia University where he explored the effects of computerized training on attention and memory and his bachelor’s degrees in psychology and fine arts, he adopts a multidisciplinary approach to understanding the interplay between brain function and behavior.

Dr Ramzi Houdeib’s professional journey includes the Traumatic Brain Injury Team at the Montreal General Hospital and the Geriatric Multiservice Center at the Institute of mental health. These experiences have honed his skills in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, developing personalized intervention plans, and collaborating effectively with patients to optimize their outcomes.

Currently, he divides his time between private practice and public service at the Institute of Mental health where he collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored interventions and support strategies for patients and caregivers, with a particular focus on older adults. He is currently accepting English and French speaking clients.

An initial in-person consultation is suggested. This initial consultation is a 110 minutes appointment during which Dr. Houdeib will conduct a full interview and basic cognitive screening, as necessary. A complete neuropsychological assessment might not always be warranted. You may also receive suggestions and recommendations or a brief educational session, depending on the initial findings and clinical impressions.
